More dates and events to be announced! We will announce changes as they are made!

  • 1860's Days at the County Museum  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . February 12th, 2022

One of the first events of the CCWS in the year occurs at the Klamath County Museum, where you can see live demonstrations of civilian crafts and displays of life

of the soldier. Also, take a peek at our full-scale 3-inch ordinance rifle! All that and more can be found between 10 AM and 2 PM during the event hours. Fun for

              the whole family!

  • Heritage Day at Fort Klamath  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . May 28th-29th, 2022

In association with the Klamath County Museums, the CCWS is proud to partake in the 2022 Heritage Days and help educate the local community on the history of Fort Klamath and the people who were part of it. We will present various stations regarding life at the Fort and for the people in the region in the 1800s. Donations are welcome both to the club and to the Museum but admission is free otherwise. This event is absolutely fun for the whole family to enjoy with period blacksmithing, artillery, and infantry demonstrations, and much more! The park opens at 9 AM and closes at 5 PM on the 29th while closing at 3 PM on the 30th.

  • Skirmish at Joseph Stewart State Park . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . June 11th-12th, 2022

Come one and all to the biggest reenactment of the CCWS! The park has now come under the jurisdiction of Medford Parks and Recreation, and we must caution that this event will be dependent on COVID Restrictions canceling the event. However, the event takes place at idyllic Lost Creek Lake in the Day Use area, with full encampments, sutlers row, and several battles on both days at 11 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, and at 11 AM and 2 PM Sunday. This will truly be an event that is fun for the whole family! The event will also feature a raffle of various items to be announced at the end of each battle, and while there is no fee for entry, the club does accept donations to help continue supporting our efforts in the local area. The event opens at 9 AM and closes at 5 PM on Saturday, and on Sunday is open from 9 AM to 3 PM.

  • Klamath Falls 4th of July Parade . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . July 4th, 2022

The CCWS will be featured in this year's parade at Klamath Falls! For the public, make sure to come out and cheer along our proud reenactors in the parade which begins at noon at Spring Street. We can next be found at the celebrations going on at the Klamath County Fairgrounds after the parade near the John Hancock Arena. Our cannons will be one of the main events, as they will be available for our Bang for Bucks fundraising, and be used to open the fireworks celebration! Come and find out more about the CCWS and ask our members more about their impressions and the history of the Civil War.

  • Hanley Farms Living History Days . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . July 30th-31st, 2022

The CCWS is happy to work with the lovely people of Hanley Farms, a historic family farm that once operated outside of Jacksonville, and which served as an important supplier of grain and feed to the cavalry stationed at Fort Klamath. The members of the CCWS will have a variety of tables and activities for folks to enjoy, while the folks of Hanley Farms have their own slate of activities, music, house tours, and more to enjoy. The Farm does ask for paid admittance to the event, as well as to several of the activities and tours, but its a hoot and holler that's fun for the whole family!

  • Fort Klamath Living History Days. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . August 13th-14th, 2022
