One of the first events of the CCWS in the year occurs at the Klamath County Museum, where you can see live demonstrations of civilian crafts and displays of life

of the soldier. Also, take a peek at our full-scale 3-inch ordinance rifle! All that and more can be found between 10 AM and 2 PM during the event hours. Fun for

              the whole family!

We will present various stations regarding life at the Fort and for the peoples in the region in the 1800's. Donations are welcome both to the club and to the Museum but admission is free otherwise. This event is absolutely fun for the whole family to enjoy with period blacksmithing, artillery and infantry demonstrations, and much more! The park opens at 9 AM and closes at 5 PM on the 29th, while closing at 3 PM on the 30th.

Come one and all to the biggest reenactment of the CCWS! The park has now come under the jurisdiction of Medford Parks and Recreation, and we must caution that this event will be dependant on COVID Restrictions canceling the event. However, the event takes place at idyllic Lost Creek Lake in the Day Use area, with full encampments, sutlers row, and several battles on both days at 11 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, and at 11 AM and 2 PM Sunday. This will truly be an event that is fun for the whole family! The event will also feature a raffle of various items to be announced at the end of each battle, and while there is no fee for entry, the club does accept donations to help continue supporting our efforts in the local area. Event opens at 9 AM and closes at 5 PM on Saturday, and on Sunday is open from 9 AM to 3 PM.

We can next be found at the celebrations going on at the Klamath County Fairgrounds after the parade near the John Hancock Arena. Our cannons will be one of the main events, as they will be available for our Bang for Bucks fundraising, and be used to open the fireworks celebration! Come and find out more about the CCWS and ask our members more about their impressions and the history of the Civil War.
